Akaki Khubutia Says Good-Bye to "Gaz Metan"

Akaki Khubutia almost has left “Gaz Metan”. “Almost” because, that 26-year-old defender has contract till the end of next summer, but there has been already made agreement between the club and the player- Romanians will sell Khubutia in symbolic price because short time is left before the expiring contract.

“World Sport” has connected to Akaki, who is in Romania:
“Leaving “Gaz Metan” was my initiative. I am getting release paper. Financial situation was not good in the club and it became worse now. I am fed up. I returned from “Samsunspor” in Romania that wanted to be ready for playing for Georgian national team. I have never had lack of practice in “Gaz Metan”, but I do not want to stay here any longer”- stated Khubutia.
Akaki will come in Tbilisi next week:” until my new club will appear, I will train in Tbilisi. Romanians demand symbolic price for me”.
Khubutia used to play for “Gaz-Metan” in 2009-2011 and in the first season he gained place in legionaries’ symbolic team of Romanian championship and then he again returned to “Gaz Metan”.
