Akaki Khubutia defender of Georgian national team is training for “Plzen”, the official web-site of the club reports about it. 26-year-old Georgian central defender arrived in Plzen on Saturday and in several hours he had trainings. It is too early to talk about signing the contract. By the way the agent of Khubutia is Czech- Dalabor Lacina.
As far as you know, Khubutia spent the last season in Turkish “Samsunspor” and in this season he has returned to “Gaz Metan”, but due to financial problems of the club, Akaki decided to leave it. According to the bilateral agreement, “Gaz Metan’ sold Akaki in a symbolic prize.  
Khubutia played 8 matches for Georgian national team, he had debut match against Croatia, when Georgian beat them 1:0.
As for “Plzen” it is famous club for Georgians: last summer at the second qualifying round of European League “Plzen” beat ‘Metalurg” Rustavi in the both matches- 3:1, 2:0. One Georgian used to play for this club- Dimitri Tatanashhvili, who was sold by ‘Ameri”.
After 16 rounds of Czech championship, “Plzen” is a leader and it is 2-point ahead its competitor. “Plzen’ plays in Europe League too: it even beat ‘Atletico” Madrid and took the first place. In 1/16 final the Czech play against “Napol” of Italy.
“Plzen” became champion of Czech in 2003 and 2011. There are 4 players from national team in this club.
