Georgian champion and winner of Super Cup “Armia” has signed a contract with its former basketball player Vakhtang Minashvili (01.02.79, 200 cm, 92 kg) till the end of 2012-12 season. Nino Shonia PR manager of “Armia” has provided this following information to “World Sport”.
As far as you know, Minashvili has been playing for “Armia” since the day of its establishment, but before the beginning of 2012-2013 season he was fired from the club and he was without the club. Minashvili started training with “Armia” during Christmas and New Year’s holidays, but they signed the contract now. “Armia” has added Besik Lezhava too (21.02.86, 193 cm, 87 kg), he spent the first season of 2012-13 with MIA. The five leading players left the club: Millij (USA), “Shelbom (Sweden), Wilson (USA), Feyson (Belgium) and Vladimer Boisa, “Armia” stayed beyond Zurab Sakandelidze-Mikheil Korkia memorial, but in spite of this it keeps the title of champion and winning of Super Cup.
