Giorgi Lomaia, goalkeeper of “Inter” Baku, established a new record in the history of the club.
According to internet edition apasport.az, the Georgian goalkeeper was not scored goal in 6 matches in a row. It did not happen in the history of “Inter” before.
The last time Lomaia was scored goal in the match against “Kapaz”. The mentioned game was held in Baku on October 30. At the 5th minute the Georgian goalkeeper could not parry the shot of Elkhan Azizov.
Overall, Lomaia has kept his goal dry for 625 minutes. He needs another 35 minutes to get in longtime “dry” series of IFFHS. There are data of 16 goalkeepers from Azerbaijani clubs in IFFHS. Each of them must not be scored goal during 660 minutes. Lomaia will have this chance on December 25 when in the 7th round “Inter” will play against current champion “Neftchi”. If Lomaia keeps his goal dry for the first 35 minutes, he will get in this list.
It is worth mentioning that Lomaia did not play in the match against “Simurq” and “Inter” was scored goal. Revaz Tevdoradze, another Georgian goalkeeper of “Inter”, participated in that match.
