Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team won bronze medal at “President Cup” in Astana. On the first day of the tournament champions and prize winners were found out in four weight classes: 55, 66, 84 and 120kg. Sergo Gogisvanidze, heavyweight from the team of Begi Darchia, took the third place.

Ucha Shavadze (66kg) and Vladimer Gegeshidze (84kg) were to wrestle on the Kazakhstani mat but Top 3 were filled without them. Robert Kobliashvili (84kg) was not in the list which Wrestling Federation provided “World Sport” with. Kobliashvili lost to Alkhazur Ozdiev of Kazakhstan in repechage final and took the fifth place.

Today champions and prize winners will be found out in 60, 74 and 96kg. Revaz Lashkhi (60kg), Manuchar Tskhadaia, Zurab Datunashvili (both 74kg) and Soso Jabidze (96kg) will wrestle in the name of Georgia.
