According to the rumors, veteran judoka Davit Kevkhishvili is appointed as a governor of Kvareli. Kevkhishvili is a presidential candidate of Georgian Judo Federation and in case of victory, he will not be able to be on two positions.

As this information has not officially spread, “World Sport” contacted Davit Kevkhishvili.

“I am not appointed. I cannot say anything about this issue yet. As for the presidential elections of the federation, this issue is the most important for me now” – stated Kevkhishvili.

The report-elections meeting of the federation will be held on December 10. Deadline of sending applications expires this evening. Delegates must make choice between Kevkhishvili and Temur Khubuluri.
