Presidential elections of Georgian Judo Federation will be held on Monday.

Davit Khakhaleishvili, Olympic and European champion and one of the candidates of the presidential elections, held a press conference at Shota Chochishvili Judo Academy and made the following statement:

“Levan Kipiani, minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, appointed an agreement with me. MP Leri Khabelov and Mamuka Khabareli, one of the candidates of the elections, attended our meeting. The minister told me the issue of president was already decided and if I wanted he could appointed me as a vice-president. Of course, I did not agree because I want the elections to be held fair and the judo world to decide the issue of president”.
