Tornike Dzamashvili (74kg) member of Georgian national youth team in Georgian Greco-Roman style wrestling won two matches at World Championship in the city of Thailand, Pattaya. He is close to very decisive victory. In final, Georgian wrestler plays against Kazbek Kilous member of Belarus.
Yakob Kajaia (96 kg) continues fighting for bronze medal. In the main draw he finished competition in quarter-final but he will compete in repechage. Peter Yoler of Germany who beat him went through the final. In “Bronze semi-final” Kajaia wrestles against Iranian Saman Abas Norozi and in case of failure, he will hold decisive match against Ukrainian Samir Volkoshanin.
Today, champions and prize winners will be found out in 50 and 60 kg weight categories and Georgians will not be in top three. Bachana Putkaradze (50kg) and Piruz Tsulukidze (60kg) stayed beyond the first round of championship.
