Today Giorgi Demetradze has turned 36 years old. “Deme” has been in prison for more than 2 years. Demetradze was such forward who would have got in lineup of Georgian national football team.

Zurab Khizanishvili, member of Georgian national team, congratulated “Deme” on behalf of all football players.

“We have played together in the team. Giorgi was a good football player. He always meant a lot for the team. Besides that, he is a good, joyful and generous person.

…we want “Deme” to be free. We have expressed it before. We football players congratulate Giorgi on birthday. We wish him health, welfare, strength. I hope everything will be alright”, - stated Khizanishvili.

2010, 2011, 2012 – it is the third birthday of Giorgi in the prison.

There are not many football players who have become top scorer of three countries (Georgia, Russia, Ukraine), has scored at Champions League. His goal against “Munich” Bayern is worth mentioning…
