Number of sports elections is increasing day by day. Georgian Water Polo Federation applied to special report-elections congress to hold elections at their federation. Current president Archil Gegenava decided to resign.

“World Sport” found out that Boxing Federation will apply to Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs with the same request. Petre Tsiskarishvili is running the federation. New leader of the federation will be elected on November 20 or 21.

Predictably, federations of judo, gymnastics, handball, volleyball, fencing, shooting, archery, taekwondo, cycle sport, rowing, canoes and pentathlon will hold this procedure. Also, mountaineers, backgammon and non-Olympic sport federations. Their congress will take place in November-December. Congresses of National Paralympic Committee, Sports Journalists’ Association and Anti-Doping Agency will also be held. Perhaps, Sambo and Wrestling Federations will be added to this list next week.
