Georgians are Left beyond Top 10 at Baku Tournament

 

Sergei Zhigalko of Belarus (2667) became winner of Baku chess tournament. In 9 rounds he earned 7.0 points and was half point ahead of Rauf Mamedov of Azerbaijan (2634).

Mikheil Mchedlishvili (2652) showed the best result from Georgian chess players. He earned 5.5 points and took the 15th place. Tornike Sanikidze (2586) and Gaioz Nigalidze (2449) earned the same points and took the 18th and 20th place.
