Anthony Wirig of France (2465) won the tournament which was held in the city of France, Vandoeuvre-les-Nancy. He earned 7.5 points. Bela Khotenashvili (2498) showed the best result from the Georgians. She earned 6.0 points in 9 rounds and took the 11^th place.

Other two Georgians also participated in the tournament. Tornike Sanikidze was No.2 seed but he earned 5.5 points and took the 15^th place. As for Malkhaz Sulashvili, he took the 28^th place with 5.0 points.
