Georgian chess player Nana Dzagnidze won in the third round of Tradewise Gibraltar Chess Festival 2013 which is underway in Gibraltar. She defeated Lawrence Trent with white pieces. Salome Melia beat Askild Bryn with white pieces. Ketevan Arakhamia-Grant of Scotland won over Enrique Vega.

After three rounds Dzagnidze and other 14 participants of the tournament have 3-3 points. Salome Melia is half point behind the leaders. Ketevan Arakhamia-Grant has 2 points.

Today in the fourth round Dzagnidze will play against Eduardo Iturizaga of Venezuela (2650) with black pieces. Anna Muzychuk of Slovenia will be opponent of Melia.
