Manager Davit Kenia who works with Goga Gakhokidze and Giorgi Kinkladze informed us with information about Mamuka Gongadze, top scorer of “Daugava” and Latvian Championship. Kenia told “World Sport” that Polish “Widzew” is going to transfer Gongadze.
Kenia has contract with “Widzew” and the club asked him to provide them with the information about the Georgian football player:
“Widzew” Lodz offers Gongadze a preliminarily contract – on loan till May. If Gongadze justifies their hopes, they will extend the contract for 2 years. Mamuka has offer from “Alania” too and the player wants to play in Russia. Of course, “Alania” offers better conditions.
Kenia told us Polish clubs are interested in Georgian football players. It is not surprising – Nika Dzalamidze and Lado Dvalishvili are playing perfectly in Ekstraklasa.
“Widzew” is interested in 19-year-old forward Giorgi Kvilitaia who plays for “Sasco”. Polish clubs are observing Georgian Championship and have some information. By the way, Merab Gigauri arrived in “Widzew” before transferring to “Jagiellonia”. But “Jagiellonia” offered better terms to “Torpedo”. Gigauri has been in “Jagiellonia” for one year and this summer he returned to “Torpedo”, - Kenia told us.
