A traditional tournament- Tokyo Grand Slam was held without Georgian national team. Our team was in the preliminary list of participants of the tournament, but due to financial problems they could not manage to leave for Tokyo. Amount of money which is considered for international tournaments in the budget of federation 2012 is finished and it became clear early. There was a chance, a new authority of federation to solve this problem, but due to delaying presidential elections several times delayed participation of Georgia team in Japanese Grand Slam for one year. It is Olympic year and most of the countries did not take leading sportsmen in Tokyo. The final results of the tournament is the following:
