Georgian tennis player Oksana Kalashnikova competes successfully in singles and doubles draws of the international tournament in Dubai. Kalashnikova and Tanasugarn of Thailand defeated the British 6:1, 6:1 and made through to ¼ final.

The Georgian-Thai duet will play against Italian Camerin and Russian Dushevina in the second round. This match will be held tomorrow evening. Before that, Oksana will play in singles draw.

It is known that in 1/8 final of 15th Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge 2012 Japanese Kimiko Date-Krumm will be opponent of Kalashnikova. 42-year-old Asian beat Anastasija Sevastova of Latvia 7:5, 6:1 in the first round.

Oksana has already earned 14 ranking points. If she wins the next match, she will earn 30 points.
