Luka Kurtanidze and Tamaz (Gega) Gegeshidze are two candidates for the presidential elections of Georgian national wrestling federation one day before the deadline of filling applications for presidential elections.  Kurtanidze has pre-election procedures first. Two-time world champion, five-time champion of Europe and two-time prize winner of Olympic Games made the statement about it two weeks ago, after  settling the presidential election by federation. Tamaz (Gega) Gegeshidze filled the application last.
According to the regulations of wrestling federation, like the president, 4 vice-presidents and general secretary also must be elected by election. These three people have applied the federation yet: Tamaz Gegeshidze, Temur Kazarashvili and Edisher Machaidze. Supposedly, Bakur Gogitadze also will add to this list. In the elections of general secretary the current general secretary Malkhaz Jorbenadze and Giorgi Lomidze the son of the veteran sportsman Shota Lomidze are candidates.
Tomorrow at 18 0’clock is deadline of presenting the applications, it is not excluded the number of the opponents to grow up. Election is held the day after tomorrow at the ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs at 12 0’clock.
