World Sambo Championship has finished in Minsk. Yesterday champions and prize winners were found out in the last three-three weight classes. Levan Kochiev (62kg), Niko Kutsia (82kg) and Nodar Metreveli (+100kg) wrestled in the name of Georgia. Kutsia won medal – he became bronze medal winner.

The Georgian delegation won 1 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals at World Championship in Belarus. Giorgi Baindurov (90kg) became world champion. Levan Zhorzholiani (100kg) lost in final. Besarion Berulava (74kg), Niko Kutsia (82kg) and Irine Leonidze (80kg) took the third place.

The Georgian team took the third place after Russia and Belarus.
