Latvian Football Federation named Mamuka Gongadze, Georgian legionary of “Daugava” Daugavpils, named as the best forward of Virsliga in the previous season.

The federation named laureates on Thursday but Gongadze did not attend the ceremony. He is in Georgia.

The 27-year-old football player scored 18 goals in 33 matches and became the best top scorer.
