Georgian Wrestling Federation marked date of the national championship on calendar. Freestyle wrestler champions and prize winners will be found out on November 27-28, Greco-Romans – on December 24-25.

“If there were any changes in wrestling rules, we would hold Georgian Championship later but FILA informed us that it is not working on novelty and we will work with preliminary plan. We will start preparation for the upcoming season at the end of the year”, - Malkhaz Jorbenadze, general secretary of Georgian Wrestling Federation, told “World Sport”.

Two international tournaments are in Georgian plans in the current season. Freestyle wrestling team will wrestle at European Cup on November 9-11 in Moscow, Greco-Romans – at Kazakhstan President Cup on November 16-18 in Astana.
