Today and tomorrow at sport-centre “Arena” was held Georgian Judo championship. According to the preliminary information, all the members of the national team will participate in this tournament. The only exception will be Olympic Champion Lasha Shavdatuashvili, who has just started training after trauma and operation.
Prize winners of the championship will become the candidates of the national team and since February they will start international tournament and traditionally, international season will open with “World Cup”.
Today champions and prize winners of Georgia will be found out in 60, 66 and 73 kg weight categories. Tomorrow in the rest weight categories: 81, 90, 100 and +100 kg.

Preliminary matches start at 11:00 o’clock.
