After a long pause, Viktor Sanikidze managed to score a double and as a result he was a leader in "Montepaschi" of Siena, but in spite of this he could not manage to help the club which lost the 1/4 match of Italian championship.

In the away match with "Emperio Arman" Georgian forward was not in the start line-ups and spent 25 minutes on the field (he is behind only American Boby Brown) and his coeficient was 17.

Sanikidze scored 2 two-point from 6, 2 three-point from 4, 10 rebounds from 12, 1 steal and 1 assist. Viktor lost the ball once, twice he gained fouls and the opponents gained 2 fouls.  "Emperio Arman" won this match 82:67.

On May 20 is held the 1/ final match between "Montepaschi" and "Emperio Arman".

In the 1/4 final match of Turkey, "Galatasaray" of Manuchar Markoishvili started competition. It won over "Topas" 92:64. Georgian forward played nearly without substitutions.

Manuchar played for 18:35 minutes and gained 9 points, 1 rebound and 1 steal. Markoishvili scored 3 penalties from 4 and both of them 3-point kicks, he did not gain any penalties and did not lose any balls.

According to a coeficient (11), Georgian basketball player was behind only Carlos Aroios and Arson Dali.

On May 21 "Gala" plays against "Topas", in case of need the decisive match is held on May 24.

In Greek championship "Olimpiacos" of Shermadini beat "Ilisiacos" (81:70) and then "Apolon Patras"(80:53), but due to unknown reasons, he was not in the start line-ups.
