According to Nikolay Lavrenko President of football club of Ukrainian First League “Oleksandria”, they sold Davit Targamadze to “Shakhtar” in 1.5 million USD. “For Targamadze we really got a very important financial support. But I am very sorry that he did not stay with us in the second circle of the last season, because he would help us in keeping place in Premier League. How much did “Shakhtar” pay for Georgian player? We took 1.5 million USD for David. This amount of money is relevant to the current contract of the player”- states Lavrenko in a talk with internet web-site “Ukrfootball.in.ua”.
 Targamadze used to play for “Aleksandria” in 2010-2011 season and scored 12 goals in 35 matches. He played a very important role in joining to Premier League from the first league. At the end of 2011 year “Oleksandria” sold Georgian midfielder to “Shakhtar”. Now Targamadze plays on a loan for “Ilichevist” of Mariupolis.
