Giga Kuparadze (2478), Levan Pantsulaia (2578), David Arutinian (2581), Nino Khurtsidze (2472), Luka Paichadze (2508) and Davit Jojua (2543) are leading rapid chess with 3.5 points at Georgian Cup which is under way at Nona Gaprindashvili Chess Palace.

In the fifth round Arutinian will play against Khurtsidze, Kuparadze – against Pantsulaia, Paichadze – against Jojua. 9 rounds will be held at rapid chess. Prize money is 3 840 GEL. Winner of men’s tournament will gain 1000 GEL and woman champion – 500 GEL.
