Gregory Surkis, former president of Ukrainian Football Federation and member of UEFA executive committee, was greeted at Tbilisi international airport by Domenti Sichinava, president of Georgian Football Federation. Now Surkis is holding a meeting with Kakha Kaladze, minister of Energy, and Levan Kipiani, minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, at “Tbilisi Marriott”.

Otar Giorgadze, press attaché of GFF, told “World Sport” the reason of Surkis’ visit is to receive guarantee from Georgian government about hosting Super Cup 2015 and UEFA Futsal Cup next April.

Surkis also mentioned that FIFA-UEFA is against of interfering in activities of GFF.

According to Giorgadze, Kaladze stated the Georgian government still helps football. According to him, presidents of federations will not be appointed by the government. Kaladze also added that elections will be held at GFF and Sichinava can participate in it.

Surkis went to “Tbilisi Marriott” from the airport. He met first Kaladze and then Kipiani joined them.
