In the first round of the qualifying draw Tatishvili defeated Arina Rodionova of Russia 6:0, 1:6, 7:6 (7:3). Then, she beat Claire Feuerstein of France 6:2, 6:3. Unfortunately, the Georgian won her only one serve against the Japanese tennis player.
