Sunday turned out very sportive and interesting in Tbilisi. First “Dinamo” Academy named after Vitali Daraselia was opened in Dighomi. Two legendary football players Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal and Andriy Shevchenko of Ukraine attended the opening ceremony. Then, a friendly match between the Tbilisi and the Moscow clubs were held. “Dynamo” Moscow starts the season on 14 July. So, it was the last test match for the Russians. Dan Petrescu, head coach of “Dynamo” Moscow, stated that this match was very important for them because the Russian Championship starts soon. His opponent Dusan Uhrin added that they would do the best.
The match was worth watching. The season has not started yet and the clubs are not on good form. The guests advanced at the beginning. Vladimir Sobolev scored from a short distance. Our team also played actively and made the first dangerous moment at the 14th minute. Merebashvili had a good chance of scoring goal but missed.
Our team played better in the second half. Xisco scored goal at the 73rd minute. The Tbilisi club could have scored more but the score did not change.
Finally, 1:1 which is the most popular in the history of these clubs.
