“Unfortunately, some of the players of the team are without clubs. Among them are leading players too. Besides this our players would not be in the optimal conditions at the beginning of February, because championship in Russia and Ukraine will be renovated later”-stated Temur Ketsbaia, he stated it in an interview with “World Sport”.

As far as you know, on February 6 Georgian national team plays against Albania in Tirana. At the beginning of 2010 Ketsabia was appointed as the head coach of the team and since that time, national team starts every year with victory. Last year Georgian beat Albania 2:1, before that the victories with Estonia (2010) and Armenia (2011) 2:1.
In a word, it will be good if the tradition is kept.

- In the middle of January you left for Antalya. Did you attend the matches of legionaries?
- I was going to stay there till the end of the month, but unfortunately due to bad weather, several matches were delayed. The matches of Georgian legionaries were not planned, a lot of clubs went abroad for meetings. I decided to return to Cyprus and get information from here.
- Will you leave for Albania from Cyprus?
- Yes I will.
- When will you name the line-ups?
- At the end of the month I will do. Several players are without club and that’s why I do not name yet. For example, Amisulashvili, Revishvili, Khubutia… in fact, it is bad time for holding match against Albania: besides two-three people, the players of the team will not have started championship till February 6, that’s why they will not be in optimal condition. Most of them play in Ukraine and Russia, that’s why the problem is certain.
- It is generally considered that players did not use to join Russian and Ukrainian clubs because they could not develop there. What about this?
- It is nonsense, of course it is better them to join Spanish, English, German and Italian clubs, but desire is one and the reality is another. I hope that our guys will play in the highest level championships in the future.
- Will experiments be against Albania?
- Every match is important, no matter is it sparring or official match. On March 22, we hold the match against France, two months are before this date. If I say that I will have the same staff against France as I do against Albania it will be incorrect. But we will try to use this match for getting ready against France. Due to other reasons we did not have 8 players against Egypt, I hope that it will not happened now. But I have already mentioned that the problem is that our players lack of playing practice and some of them are without clubs.

- You did not call Khizanishvili up against Egypt. Did juvenilisation process touch to him too?
- We said that we do not ignore anyone. I can say that Khizanishvili and Kashia will be called up in any case. Turkish and Dutch championships have already started and that’s why.

- Tell us about the problems which are not solved yet in the team. I mean lack of playing practice..
- I cannot say that this problem is impossible to be solved. We do our best to progress but sometimes we even cannot manage to gather players who are in optimal condition. You have to update information about the players all time in national team. Some of them progress, some of them vice verse, I chose them according to it. That’s why I observe all of them and try not to miss their progress or regress.  As for our playing, I hope that we will have a progress.
- The main staff of the team is young, especially midfileders.  What about it, how prospective they are?
- The team is based on them exactly. We are criticized very much, but everyone has his/her opinion. They are our future, they have to play minimum for ten years and they have everything for progressing. But only age is not decisive, who deserves he is always called up for the team.
