At the last weekend in “Federal 1” semi-professional the third rank league of France was very profitable for Georgian legionaries. Tedo Zibibadze scored two tries, Merab Kvirikashvili added one try to penalty-conversion kick and Lasha Malaguridze scored penalty.
First of all a few words about the first pool, where the leader is Avto Kopaliani and Shota Mikeladze’s “Macon”. This club continues competition unbeatably and in the third match it beat Zura Petriashvili’s “Vienne” 29:8. Petriashvili was in the line-up of loser team, but Kopaliani played for the full time for hot team and Melkadze was substitutes at the 64th minute. “Macon” could not manage to gain premier point and it is one point behind “Lille”, which is in the 12th place and “Vienne” is in the 7th place with 5 points. Revaz Gigauri and Elizbar Kuparadze’s “Monliuson” celebrated the first victory over “Bresan”, which is in the 8th place with 5 points. Only Kuparadze participated in this match, he played till the 73th minute. Giorgi Gabelia and Revaz Jgenti’s “Sant-Etien” lost with “Dijon” 26:32 and gained only premier point. Gabelia who was in the line-up was substituted at the 49th minute, as for Jgenti he was not in the line-up. “Sant- Etien” is in the 9th place with 4 points. Giorgi Sulashvili’s “Strasbourg” is in the last place, it does not have any point. Giorgi Jashitashvili’s “Shalon” defeated “Strasbourg” in the last match 50:10. Sulashvili was not in the line-up and Jashitashvili played for several minutes. His team is in the 5th place with 7 points.
Georgian derby was held in the second pool, where Temur Gelantia and Beka Urjukashvili’s “Oben” lost with Davit Kacharava’s “Rodez” 22:11. Kacharava played for the full time for host team, Urjukashvili also played for the whole match, as for Gelantia he was substituted at the 48th minute. It was the first failure for “Rodez” and it is in the fourth place with 8 points and “Oben” which gained victory is in the seventh place with 5 points. Giorgi Kutarashvili’s “Shatorenar”, it is in the 8th place with 5 points, which lost with “Burguen” 0:50. Georgian legionary appeared on the field after time-out. Iraki Ninidze’s “Roman” lost with “La-sen” 17:43 and it is in the last place with 2 points. The first liner Ninidze spent 65 minutes on the field. It is remarkable that before the break hosts scored five penalties and won the time 15:14, in the second half guests seemed to be tired and three penalties were scored against them.
In the third pool, Tedo Zibzibadze’s “Perigo” was very close to victory, but lost at the last moment against “Tirous” 27:28. Guests played the first time very well, but in the second half they lost discipline and it reflected on the result very much. In the first forty minute were scored three tries, Zebzibadze scored two tries from these three and advanced 24:13…
Georgian rugby player who scored the first try at the 12nd minute and scored the second one before the time-out. In the fourth pool, Merab Kvirikashvili brought 12 poitns to “San-Juan”, which beat Giorgi Mchedlishvili’s “Oloron” 22:15. Georgia player score conversion kick at the 3rd minute, in five minutes he performed penalty very well and at the 50th minute he scored try and after his correct conversion kick his club advanced 17:15. Mchedlishvili also was in the line-up, he was substituted at the 63th minute. “San-Junian” is in the fourth place with 8 points.
Lasha Malaguridze appeared on the field at the 51th minute in and he scored penalties at the 63th and the 70th minutes for “Banier’ against “Lurd”, finally guests advanced and won 24:15. Simon Maisuradze spent 58 minutes on the field. “Banier” has 4 points and it is in the eighth place. The next matches of “Federal 1” are held on October 6-7.
