The first round Australian Open matches have already held, the most interesting match of Georgian tennis fans is on January 15, at dawn. At about 07:30 at the sixth court of Melbourne Anna Tatishvili plays against Japanese Ayumi Morita.
According to the schedule, the matches at this mentioned court start at 04:00 o’clock and in the first two matches Japense will participate. At first, Veteran Kimiko Date-Krum plays against Russian Nadia Petrova (No.12) and at about 05:30 Go Soeda plays against Luk Savil in boys tournament.  22-year-old Tatishvili has regressed 2 positions in renovated WTA ranking, she is No.54 seed of the world with 1140 points, her peer Morita advanced with 9 positions, she is No.72 seed with 853 points.

 Anna must win this match because she has to defend ranking points.

Tatishvili earned these points last year. In the first round she won over Ashleigh Barty of Australia 6:2, 7:6 (7:4). Then, the Georgian lost to Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark 1:6, 6:7 (4:7).

As for double tournament, Tatishvili and Slovenian Andrea Klepac, they play against the Chinese- Khsynyun Han and Yi-Miao Zhou in the first match.
