Two Georgian tennis players will play in ¼ final of Telavi tennis tournament (50 000 USD). Sofia Shapatava will play against No.4 seed Aleksandra Krunic of Serbia. Oksana Kalashnikova will play one of the winners of the qualifying draw Anna Shkudun of Ukraine.

In 1/8 final Shapatava won over Conny Perrin of Switzerland 4:6, 6:3, 6:4. Kalashnikova beat Richel Hogenkamp of Holland 6:4, 2:6, 7:6 (7:5). Another Georgian Maka Chakhnashvili lost to Anna-Lena Friedsam of Germany 6:7 (2:7), 7:5, 4:6.

In doubles draw Kalashnikova and Belarusian Dzehalevich defeated Ukrainian sisters Kichenok 6:4, 6:2. In ¼ final they will play against Russian Khromacheva and Ukrainian Svitolina. Another Georgian will play in ¼ final. Shapatava and Belarusian Lebesheva will play against No.2 seed Spanish tandem.
