Meeting of Georgian Sports Journalists’ Association will be held on December 25. President of the association will be elected at the meeting.

Current president Elguja Berishvili told “World Sport” there are only two presidential candidates: Davit Tavartkiladze, journalist of newspaper “Lelo”, and Otar Giorgadze, journalist of “1TV”, who is a press attaché of Georgian Football Federation.

“World Sport” found out that journalist Paata Natsvlishvili and Gia Gorgodze, editor in chief of journal “Atiani”, are going to participate in the elections too.

Berishvili who has been president of the association for 20 years is not going to participate in the elections. He is in the team of Leri Khabelov, presidential candidate of Georgian Olympic Committee, and if Khabelov wins, Berishvili will become the first vice-president of GNOC.
