Yesterday and today, at Water complex “Olimpics” were held the fifth round of Georgian championship among water-polo players born in 1996. On September 28, the first match was held between “Batumi” and “Tbilisi”. The match ended in favor of “Batumi” 17:13. The first quarter of the match ended in favor of “Tbilisi (4:3), but the second period ended in favor of “Batumi”- 9:6. Pataridze was top-scorer in this match (6), as for looser Bakhtadze and Kutsia scored 4-4 goals. Later, “Ligamus” played against “Iveria 2”. “Ligamus” had superiority during the whole match and finally won 17:7.

Gabadadze was top-scorer in “Ligamus” with 5 goals, “Kotrikadze from “Iveria2” with three goals. In the third match of the day “Kutaisi” had to play against “Tonus”, but like in the previous round “Tonus” did not appear and as a result it was announced as loser 0:10. On September 28 in the last match “Ivera” beat “Batumi”- 24:1. Hakhaia scored the most goals -5. As for “Batumi”, Chagurava scored the only goal. On September 29 the first match was held between “Kutaisi” and “Batumi”. A tense match ended in favor of “Batumi” 10:8. Chagurava was again top-scorer with 4 goals. As for loser team, Arveadze, Deisadze and Silagadze scored 2-2goals. The next match had to be held between “Batumi” and “Tonus”, but as it was mentioned “Tonus” did not appear in the fifth round and all the matches ended 0:10. In the second match “Iveria” beat “Iveria 2” 16:12. The match started in faor of “Iveria 2”, but “Iveria” soon advanced and the first period ended 7:7. In the second period, it owned superiority. Jakhaia was top-scorer from winner club with 6 goals and Tetradze was top-scorer in loser club with 5 goals.
