40-year-old Zurab Popkhadze head coach of football club “Lagodekhi” was found dead hanging on a tree in the village of Lagodekhi region, Shroma. As a correspondent of “Interpress News” reports, according to the current information, family conflict is linked to a suicide. Forensic examination of corpse was done in the office of court-medical examination named after Levan Samkharauli. Suicide has been launched. LagodekhI Police is investigating this case. Popkhadze has three children among them two are juveniles.  
Zurab Popkhadze played 4 matches for Georgian national team in 1998-1999. He used to play for “Hereti” Lagodekhi, ‘Kakheti” Telavi, “Alazani” Gurjaani, “Metallurgi” Rustavi, “Krylya Sovetov” Russia, “Alania”, “Lokomotive“ Nizhny Novgorod, “Metalurg-Kuzbas” and “Kryvbas” of Ukraine.
